Really? I actually thought this is a decent draw for her. Of all the Chinese women, she got DN and it's 50-50 against Doo, assuming she doesn't fall to a qualifier.

I don't think Zeio meant it in the sense that Hirano's doomed with this draw. Hirano is more than capable than beating any of the players seeded from 9-16. However, among those seeded 9-16, Doo Hoi Kem is the only player Hirano has a notoriously bad record against. Hirano has lost to her 6 of the last 7 times. The matches always were always close though, which should give Hirano some encouragement. Maybe Hirano would have preferred any of the other players seeded 9-16, who she has a better record against, but I personally want to see Hirano play Doo as it will give her a chance to possibly overcome whatever difficulties she has against Doo, which is essential for her growth as a player.
Besides, when it comes to the draw, I'm sure Hirano's more concerned with Cheng I-Ching's opponent because her World Cup seeding depends on it.
After G4, Li Ching tells Soo to keep the game simple and to serve side topspin.
Soo Wai Yam saving the day yet again.
DHK: I don't give a *bleep* about CSY. I'm here to shut out CIC only.

absolutely no crowd at all...
again quite interesting korean team. They always send LSS and JYS while they have so many great young players. The thing is LSS and JYS usualy do not perform good in team matches.
