Maharu is not on the list but I bet he will have a chance of upsetting Jun in the second round. Too bad they have to meet early. This Korea Open is more or less a showdown between Korea and Japan with most of the top players withdraw. It is kind of sad to see that.

If Yoshimura can play like he did in the recently concluded Japan Open I think he can take this one too, otherwise I think Mizutani will win.

Home court advantage might make it interesting though, so I don't count out Joo or any of the other up and coming Korean players. I don't see anyone else winning though--maybe Kenta?

Antoine Hachard is someone I look forward seeing in the competition--I remember watching matches of him when he was a junior and thought of him to be one of the future players of France.
