This career title for Korea's Oh Sang Eun has made him seven times ITTF Pro Tour Men’s Singles winner. It was Oh's incredible up to table topspin display that abled him to get the better of Vladimir Samsonov. In the first set Oh used his short game skills to his advantage that enabled him to have an opener to utilise Samsonov's backhand.

The second set was incredible! Samsonov took a huge lead going 10-5 up and determined Oh Sang Eun fought back. Oh eventually won the set 17-15 and this was high level table tennis and the spectators were very involved.

Vladimir Samsonov won the third set 11-5 making very few mistakes. However after team talks, Oh Sang Eun came back to the table fighting and was the eventual winner and went away crowned Mens Singles Spanish Open 2011 winner.
