First, I don't buy WCQ lost due to a broken blade because WCQ was not himself even before the blade incident.

Even in the Round 32 match against Wang Yang, he was clearly not as dominant as he was.

My theory is that he was overwhelmed by the sheer pressure of carrying CNT on his back as the workload is the biggest yet as he is in all 3 categories which have never been done before OR he picked up some sort of injuries.

I tend to incline to my first theory btw.
He had injuries in the last tournament he played. Fan Zhendong alluded to this. But it doesn't matter. He played and lost.

In the post-match interview, WCQ said it had to do with his poor performance, making too many errors, and brushed the incident away.
And now we can put a moratorium on the stagnation of Truls comments. At least until his next loss lol.

Yeah. Kanak was moving around the table with only forehand. He gains a lot of muscle and he didnt care about underspin balls too much. He is really strong IT means he can be tired after 3 sets. Gionis wants open the game after 5th set and that was stupid idea because he is old too and he can be tired too..
Old body recover slower than young full of testosteron. Kanak plays top level after the ban

When you play a chopper, it is standard to move around the table with only forehand. You know this right? And it is completely normal for a match be 3-0 or 3-1 and any combination of factors changes the match trend. And the winner wins for.a reason as does the loser, did Gionis win a medal when he was younger? Kanak had beaten defenders like Ruwen Filus at majors before so why not Gionis?

I still don't understand why people have to say things about North American players (Jha, Diaz) that they would never say about equally good players from other continents.

says Miwa does it!
I'm sure this was posted in he first 36 pages, but where is best to stream using VPN?

NHK, or french tv? Canada?
I also suggest 9now. I'm occasionally streaming it from Poland, even though I have HBO Max. The problem with Max is that it sometimes doesn't provide the English commentary even though it is available on 9now for a given table!

The problem with Discovery+ (which I tried to obtain earlier) is that you can't pay them unless you have a card issued in the region they cover.

9now is problem-free. You use VPN set to Australia, register to their services for free and you are ready to go. They stream all tables and there is always commentary on one.

What's the issue? Although he does look like he's dropped a bit since last time i saw him play.

Lots of muscles are no good for table tennis.
Try telling that to guys like Liang Jingkun or Lim Jonghoon.
