Serial number placement on DHS blades

Hi. I have recently bought a DHS W968 provincial blade (I hope so anyway. . .), it all looks authentic to me with the correct packaging, card etc. However, I have been surprised and a little concerned that the serial numbers I was expecting to be on the side of the handle are actually on the face of the blade. Is this the new placement? Or is it a different variant of HL5?
I don't think it's fake, partly because it would be a monumental mistake for what is otherwise an excellent copy, although I could always be proved wrong. . .

I just bought an Hurricane Long 3, and I supposed It was fake as it doesn't have a serial number printed on the handle. I checked the number on the sticker on DHS website and it says it's genuine. So can you confirm that the new versions of DHS blades have no serial on handle anymore?

Hmm.. I would have expected the blade to be produced in 2024 in order to use the new placement of the serial number. But card says it was produced 2023.
When did the change of placement happened?
