I switched over from the TG7-AS to the TBS, and I can say that it is worthwhile. The TG7 was getting a little bit too slow for me, however when I switched over I kept overshooting the ball , I guess it will take a little bit of getting used to. But I can say that the speed, control, and feel is phenomenal. The only down side is that the top layer is really soft, so you are going to be careful when you are gluing.
I heard the Michael Maze blade from Butterfly is very similar to the TBS. Is it true?
The Kong Linghui Special is also quite similar, as was the old Keyshot.
Yeap, the glue was completely dry. If my blade is the only one splintering I guess it must be the rubber cement.
TBS is perfect for you and for beginners in general who make a long term commitment to the sport and are willing to buy a racket of that quality. It is great because it can service a wide range of play styles. Its slow for the spin and smash types, and fast for the allround game but everything in between and most of the styles people would call 'offensive' can be pulled off with this blade.
yes, they are similar, TBS is substantially faster and a little harder. Viscaria is more like TBS in terms of speed, but is also just a little softer.
