Truls Möregårdh, 21, will play in the Chinese Super League.
Something very few Europeans have had the chance to do.
- It is among the biggest things that have happened in my career, says the Swedish table tennis star to TT.
This weekend, Möregårdh will become only the eighth European to play in the Chinese Super League since 2001.
- That's where you want to be, in China and meet the very best. It is among the biggest things that have happened in my career. It can hardly get bigger in table tennis, says Möregårdh.
The last time a Swede played in the Chinese Super League was in 2012–13 when the legendary Jörgen Persson got the chance.
- It will be great fun to see how difficult it is and feel the level. You have met a couple of the players before and you know that it is not always great fun to play against them, says the shooting star, who took silver in the WC in Houston 2021, jokingly.
