I sometimes wonder how Zeio can afford the time to spend writing all his propaganda . Is he supported financially by his political masters?
.
i first thought he was kid with plenty of free time
that was a decade ago
It feels like he spends many hours a day on tt forums, some times posting relevant things, some times posting propaganda, i once asked what he does for a living, he remains silent on that

I think it's odd that you can't make a counterargument without bringing China's atrocities into the conversation. I will condemn those atrocities as well. Condemning Japan's war crimes doesn't mean that I endorse China's. Why do you keep bringing up China? When Fan Zhendong starts endorsing China's war crimes, please let me know and I'll call him an idiot as wel

Japan crimes were committed in ww2. They still deserve condemnation. However China actions against Uighars are happening NOW and should be more urgent to a concerned citizen like yourself You seem full of Hate for Japan but very tolerant of china

Wow, I was very bored with this line of discussion until TTT raised the Winnie the Pooh thing. What is the basis for the meme, is it a supposed physical resemblance? Does Xi have a terrific fondness for honey?

Sure. But her fans have the freedom to unfollow her.
As Michael Jordan said "The way I go about my life is I set examples. If it inspires you? Great, I will continue to do that. If it doesn't? Then maybe I'm not the person you should be following."

They're not real fans, just sheep with no consistent train if thought. They can't even THINK. It's all reactionary, critical thinking isn't possible for these people.
Better to have them gone and only real fans remaining.
The sheep will latch onto something else very soon.

This isn't about Chinese atrocities, this is about Japanese war criminals.

The fact that the USSR committed atrocities does not mean that we should celebrate Nazis for committing war crimes against Russian civilians.

Come on mate. You understand this concept already, and would recognize this concept in any other context. Why is it suddenly a nuanced issue when it's Japanese war criminals instead of Germans?
Nope, it's about selective focus based on personal beliefs and then shoving them down the throats of everyone.
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
And btw, viewing those museums as 'celebration of the act' is complete idiocy.
It's remembrance of history. Most people would like that these mistakes not be repeated

Imagine Germans going to a memorial for German soldiers who invaded the USSR or who died in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising or something stupid like that. This isn't a hard thing to condemn and there isn't really a grey area. Sure, they were brainwashed and that's a tragedy. Lots of German nazis were also brainwashed. This is not a good reason to commemorate them. They did real material harm to lots of people, in service of a fascist government.

Kamikaze pilots do bear some degree of responsibility for going along with the war crimes, even if they were brainwashed. And so do all the nazis who were "just following orders".
Ok but if you were born in 1920 in Germany you would also have been a Nazi. Think about that.
I sometimes wonder how Zeio can afford the time to spend writing all his propaganda . Is he supported financially by his political masters?
.
Some people (there are lots of them) believe they know better and can therefore tell everyone else that they are wrong. Repeatedly. Without listening.
Ironically it is exactly this type of person who, when in a position of power, becomes responsible for all the horrible types of things that he's lecturing us about this past week.

yes, no?
Two wrongs just make a bigger wrong.
Or do you believe in relative morality?
'Oh they did something wrong so now I can too because they did it first.'
But the answer is yes, you can criticise, while free speech still exists. Unfortunately there are the likes of you who are trying to remove this right.
There are anti Israel protests happening in America the past 6 months. Open your eyes?

I went away from the forum for a long time and it appears that nothing has changed lol.

Some ppl also dont understand that freedom of speech has its limits too. Every country has its own laws. For eg holding up Nazi signs or promoting Nazi ideology will indeed get you arrested in many countries (recently a bunch of neo-Nazis got arrested in Australia too).

On why there is a huge anti-Japanese sentiment in Korea and China (as well as Southeast Asia which I am from), is because unlike the Germans, Japan has never been truly repentant of their war crimes as an aggressor nation and still maintains the Yasukuni shrine which commemorates war criminals and many other such museums.

If Germany did the same thing (for eg erect museums commemorating dead Nazi war criminals or teach a revisionist history to German kids that claimed that the Nazis were the victims - it would not enjoy any kind of friendship with all the countries it used to invade like Poland or France or the UK).

If Japan did even 10% of what Germany did in terms of repentance, all of this drama would simply not happen.

Yeah. Be nice if China, America, UK etc etc x 100 did that too.
But let's pick on Japan here and condone the cyber bullying of Hayata?
It's all much deeper than any post can illustrate, that's why there are thousands of books of thousands of pages on the subjects.
Ppl are using the forum for politics. That's the real issue.

I must correct you here
zeio thinks he has some position of power. he sure does not.

he think he has worshippers, yeah, a few, but that is about it.
he just has so much time, and after his posts all got deleted, he think he can still come and continue his nonsense without retribution.
i guess that is the zeio we know. next he would get banned maybe, and then he will go back to Mytt or some other forum and then come back here one day, behave and then loose control.

when asked about winnie the pooh, he fears to reply a yes or no answer.
we all know why, because it doesn't suit his narrative.

i see the whole issue of Japan as minute, zeio is just using it to bully hayata no doubt.
if hayata wasn't involved, I doubt he will spend so much energy
if he was so anti - japanese war crime and saintly as what he is trying to do, why does he even spend energy on japanese tt content? they are all evil for not coming out to apologies for they grand parents generation

I'm sure Carl will remove this thread.
I did report the OP half a day ago.
I guess he is just busy. Same time, more and more people can see through zeio

after seeing your message, I went to google it a bit.
(not sure if you have done too, ie reading the wikipedia link)

I wonder who started this, sounds like chinese people. it was (as per wiki) as early as 2013.

quote from wiki:

Comparisons between the cartoon character and Xi Jinping date back to 2013, when the Chinese leader visited Barack Obama in the United States. An image of the two leaders walking was immediately compared to that of the bear and his friend Tigger. The humorous tone on social media that day was repeated on other occasions with other leaders, including Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, whom Internet users saw as having a reasonable resemblance to Eeyore, the sad donkey that is also part of Winnie-the-Pooh's adventures. Very reluctant to permit any humorous comment about Xi, authorities ended up condemning the bear when some political activists and dissidents used it to express their discontent.[6]

The Chinese government has blocked images and mentions of Winnie the Pooh on social media because Internet users have been using the character to mock CCP general secretary Xi Jinping. This is part of a larger effort to restrict bloggers from getting around censorship in China.[5] Notably, the 2018 film Christopher Robin was banned in China due to said comparisons.[7] The government is not only concerned with avoiding the ridicule of its leaders but also with preventing the character from becoming an online euphemism for the CCP general secretary

In October 2019, Pooh was featured in the South Park episode "Band in China", because of his alleged resemblance with Xi. In the episode, Pooh is brutally killed by Randy Marsh. South Park was banned in China as a result of the episode.[8][9]

On March 21, 2023, movie distributor VII Pillars Entertainment announced on Facebook that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, originally scheduled to be released on March 23, would be cancelled for release in the Hong Kong and Macau regions. This move is suspected to be influenced by the amendment of Hong Kong's film censorship regulations in 2021, which prohibits the public screening of movies that are deemed "potentially harmful to national security". However, VII Pillars Entertainment did not provide any explanation for the decision.[10]

On 8 April 2023, the Taiwanese Air Force released an image of a Taiwanese pilot. The pilot was wearing a shoulder patch depicting a Formosan black bear punching Winnie the Pooh. The badge was designed by Alec Hsu in 2022. After the photo went viral, Mr. Hsu ordered more patches due to its popularity with civilians and the military alike. "I wanted to boost the morale of our troops through designing this patch," he told the media. The patch is not an official part of the Taiwanese Air Force's uniform, although the military "will maintain an open attitude" to things that raise morale

How is winnie the pooh related to say nazi symbol or actual hate/war crime?
I remember watching news about the south park episode.
or who knows, maybe it is the honey....
True freedom of speech and expression allows for criticism. sadly who ever attacked xi with winnie, winnie has ended up in prison

Agreed. Let's start with Tony, who has been political for the majority of his postings on TTD. As a coach he should be sharing his wisdom and technique tips, etc... but he is flaming for the majority of his posts. I would recommend that he should be given a ban or warning if zeio is banned or warned too.

Well I have no opinion on anything like that, nothing to do with me.
Actually I'm completely finished with politics in here so this'll be my last post on the subject.
I'll just ignore it like I shudda done from the start 😂

I don't think anybody needs to be banned. I don't see personal attacks.

The topic is political and it is okay to post threads that are off topic. There is a Forum that is titled, General Off Topic Discussions. There are even sub-forums in that forum. But if you don't want to have someone else's political opinions foisted onto you as though they are facts, you can choose to not read, or feel free to read and make up your mind on your own about the information presented.

That being said, I do think some people do have a political agenda that they try to present. Not just Zeio. And it is very easy, if you want to, to not read stuff that certain people write when or if you begin to find them toxic.

If personal attacks start appearing, feel free to let me know.

Also, if you want to know this, in the past 20 post reports that TTD has received, nobody has gotten more posts reported for being out of line than Zeio and TTTony. They both have strong opinions and maybe they both have some maturing to do. But they also both have information that is valuable to the forum as well. It isn't just the stuff that creates drama that they bring to the forum.
