Andy, I think Tom and Dan tested the new versions of Rasant using a Treiber blade, I could be wrong, but they got blades to test from Andro, they weren't horrible.

Some Andro blades I wouldn't give to my children. Some of them are legend, hall of fame worthy. But since everyone is different, you gotta try a lot of them yourself directly to get a feel for it. I am not a fan of the Kinetic series, but that is me. Andro along with others tried to innovate the equipment, I say everyone got mixed results.

In general, it would be VERY wrong to say this company's blades all suck rocks, because if they are not premades, they will likely have at least a blade or three suitable for ya. But if we ask about a specific blade (and rubber combo) you would get more useful feedback.

You also have to be aware that some rubbers simply do not work with some blades or class of blade and you have to match up the rubber as a consideration as well.

Example, Calibra LT PLUS will NOT work well on a Stiga Allround Classic, but Calibra LT Spin could be a good match for that balde.

I've never heard of Andro before but to me they are just another new born TT brand that put's their name on the usual Tensor rubbers. They are not necessary a manufacture but I would say they are good at bringing competitive priced products cheaper for the european market. The China of Europe :D I think they are certainly better than somebody like Joola who has existed for decades and hasn't impressed me. I like the 3rd gen Tensor hard rubber they release with their modified green sponge. They must have promoted themself well in Eastern Europe as most table tennis centers are using huge Andro posters and tables, even the surrounds. Hexer and Rasant are their strongest marketing points

I haven't tried that many Andro blades but of course like all different brands there is always some blades that will suit you good. Andros blades is not so popular among the pros but that doesn't mean that they are bad because it can have to do with sponsorship. Me myself prefer Stiga and also Butterfly blades but of course that is just my personal choice which is very individual.

Existed for many, international for few, acknowledged win in 2011

Andro really has been around for decades
It is so famous that it is internationally well known (as I am not German, and I know of it from across the globe)

Andro does have a huge presence in Europe and does have a decent world wide distribution network.
Very big in Melbourne (with HWATT sponsored by Andro)
One of the biggest stores in Taiwan also always push Andro, and that is where I got my first Andro product - Hexer rubber - very good.

IMO, they tensor rubbers are good quality.
Blade not as famous, but you do have good players in the world using them

I've used quite a few andro blades (I test, review, and sell). Here's the thing... all brands have put out blades that weren't well received, and nearly all have put out some amazing blades. Andro is no exception to this. With that being said, there are only a few I may recommend someone looking into purchasinga new blade. The Treiber series is pretty decent for advanced to professional players, especially the CI OFF, and the Novacell has a great lineup for intermediate to advanced players. I believe there are some better options for the playstyles, but perhaps not at the price-point for particular players. I personally prefer Xiom, Nittaku, Stiga, and Butterfly blades as a whole, but about every major brand has impressed me with at least one blade.

Thank you sir.
Best regards,

I am a fairly big proponent of Andro blades and rubbers. Had several woods in the past. Why, 1 the (konkav) grip is ideal for me and 2 they have some super light blades. My favourite all time is Temper Tech All+
The bottom picture is a TP_Ligna All that I am playing with now.
