As already mentioned, it's yet another heartbreaking loss for Lin Gaoyuan

Seems like almost ALL of his losses this year has been just like this: filled with so many missed opportunities that he basically should have won?

I really like his game/style, so I hope that these mental issues will improve with time - and experience.

Even including his tough losses, I believe he has been very clearly the #4 Chinese player (at least) in 2017 after Ma, Fan and Xu. So I still think he has a good chance to make it to the 2018 WTTTC squad either by qualifying or by selection.

Lin is an exceptional player, I'd put him above XX in his current state. If he sorts his psychological problems out, I can see him competing for the #1 spot in the next couple of years.

Miyu KATO is giving some problems to ZHU Yuling 3-3 !!! its a decider !!!
Miyu is fighting a lot with her weapons. I'm not a fan of her game... but she plays very cleverly. with a lot of change of pace... its confusing ZYL

I really like the current generation of Japanese female players, lots of fighting spirit in them, all really young as well. Should be an interesting battle between them and CNT until and at the Olympics 2020. And after that for that matter.
