Anyways, before the semifinals, Ovtcharov should ask himself:
"How many points I won after that stupid backhand push on the forehand side??"
The answer is 2 .. as far as I remember..
Compared to over 20 points that he lost that way , I think he should learn forehand push

That's true, although it does make it more exciting on the other hand. In a normal Pro Tour, matches like Kim - Joo, Boll - Crisan, Vladi - Zhang are barely seen. After all it is just the fact that OS is once in 4 years that makes the pressure unbearable for some players, and it creates interesting matches. Dima-Maze was also not a very high quality of rallies, but amazing service-receive play. Despite that it is the most thrilling table tennis match I have ever watched xDI have to be honest, it makes things interesting because people who would not otherwise have gotten farther than they normally might. But, if you look at the draw, the level of competition in this tournament is fairly low. There are lots of tournaments throughout the pro tour that have a higher level of competition than this tournament had. The results so far have been interesting. But it would be nice if there were a few more higher level players in there.
