Junior and vet British league is played in a velodrome in Derby - so happens a bit over here. Wonder if they have some kinda deal with British cycling? It does make the venues quite big/tall. Would that effect play?

He’s been in a lot of the comms and advertising so it’s a big loss and takes a little bit of the shine off the event.
Hopefully Gionis plays as he was the other player I was really looking forward to seeing live.

It looks like a very big space for what, is it 4 tables (I can't remember what I saw in the video, she just did a 180 deg, standing from the coaches corner of the main table).

Doesn't seem like WTT decided the "curtain off" the 4 playing areas, so it does look massive for 4 tables.
And the problem is, the track is a track, and not a stand.
the stand is only 1 side.
so you got the other 2 or 3 sides that is totally empty.

I guess it does require some form of adaption, and who knows how WTT will do in terms of colour and music with 4 tables all opened (unless they did curtain off, since the video I saw was before they started the tournament)

Had to go out and play a match whilst Connor was playing. Just had time to see him finish off the last few points after I arrived at the hall before setting up the tables.
