It's hard to adjust to such changes in momentum. I mean think about times you were up 3-1, 9-9. Usually, you feel you will win regardless. It is the change in flow that upsets you. I like what Wang Manyu once said, you don't control how you feel in those moments. Control is a reaction, not a proaction. If it was as easy as telling yourself to think a certain way, many players would never have mental attitude problems.Is it just me or could Hayata and Hirano play with more urgency? The way she lost those two points at 9-9 felt way too casual. You were two points away from an Olympic semifinal! That certainly wouldn't be the reaction if she were 3-1, 9-9 against SYS.
