See, this is the bad blood I was talking about.It is quite baffling to read this thread, to put it mildly, for someone who was born and grew up as a mostly russian-speaker in western Ukraine and whose formative years happened as USSR fell apart and Ukraine became independent.
On one hand you have Ukrainians who actually first hand experienced horrors of this war and continue to experience them on a daily basis. On the other hand, you have people so brainwashed by russian propaganda that they literally deny the lived experience of Ukrainians and see absolutely nothing wrong with telling them what is actually happening in their country and/or engage in banal whataboutism and sophistry...
I suppose this thread does serve a useful purpose - my ignore list more than doubled in length.
Probably just a taste of what's to come.
