I tell you the first 5 minutes, that looks like where most of the meat is at.
- Very important to have elbow in front. It makes the swing stable
- You should have a sensation or feeling of the swing rotating on elbow joint (with elbow stationary)
- Use a 6:4 ration of wrist to forearm power.
- Goal is to get the tip of the bat to go fast.
- Use the forearm and the wrist together to generate speed and power
- Coach emphasizes the 40% of the power to come from forearm.
- Use legs and hips to generate the initial energy. It also makes you stable.
- Someone asked how high or low to impact ball. LSS likes to impact it kinda low. He doesn't like to BH hit a ball at chin height
- LSS would take ball letter high or belly button high, either on rise, or if at distance, as ball is descending
- Hard to make the shot if ball is not in good spot (sweet spot of impact zone)
- LSS says again he feels more stable if he does a crouch and waist use with the BH loop
- LSS says it is better to use legs and waist together with the BH loop, not just arm.
- Coach emphasizes the importance of being stable. (Koreans say do not "Shake")
