Good tournament for Japan and Taiwan. Not a good tournament for the Korean women. Japan won WS (Sakura Mori), XD (Nagasaki/Tanaka), WD (Mori/Nagasaki). Taiwanese women took 3 of the 4 WS SF spots with Liu Hsing-Yin knocking out 2nd seed Nagasaki. I guess if Nagasaki didn't lose, her good friend Sakura Mori likely would not become a WTT Contender Champion. But Miyu did show her doubles prowess which I think will be useful in future World majors. Regarding the Korean women, top seed Kim Nayeong taken out in 2nd round. 3rd seed Lee Eunhye loses in QF. 6th seed Lee Zion loses in 1st round.

just imagine if Japan, Korea and Taiwan didn't travel to South America.....

I think more incentives need to be placed for longer traveling countries, since it is so difficult to get to South America from the main TT hubs (Europe/Asia).

WTT don't even take into consideration traveling time on scheduling, so many choose not to go.

Last year there was 1 tournament, that there was only 1 player taking part NOT from the Americas....
So why call it world table tennis, can just call it regional table tennis right?
