With that many fans in the stadium, WTT probably made a lot of money and filled a lot pockets full. Hopefully they will award the prize money sooner this time.

Ticket revenue actually goes to the LOC as stated on the WTT site. This was confirmed by 周到/Zhou Dao, WTT世界乒联中国媒体总监、ITTF亚洲媒体主管/WTT China Media Director (?), ITTF Asia Media Manager (?) and former CCTV5 reporter, at a seminar in 3/2024.
