Butterfly TB ALC,Viscaria,TBS

Its time for me to get a new blade,and ive been thinking of these 3.

1)Timo Boll ALC

2)Viscaria

3)Timo Boll Spirit.

Which is better?Which one do you prefer more?

Any tips,ideas etc will be gladly accepted.

Ive only used the TB ALC,and I really liked that blade.

IMO it was 1 of the best ive ever used.

Depends on what type of feel and handle shape you prefer. These blades are relatively similar. Viscaria has probably the softest feel of the three. Many people say that Timo Boll ALC is somewhat more balanced than the TBS as far as weight distribution is concerned. Many others say that TBS has better feel and control than Timo Bool ALC. Personally, I've played with Viscaria and ALC and preferred the Viscaria (and still have it) because of overall feel and handle shape.

To sum up, all 3 are very good "classic" blades.

from all the reviews I have read,i can conclude that butterfly produces the best carbon/composite blades,while stiga produces the best allwood blades. This is my opinion,others might differ.

TBS or ALC = better for blocking, stiffer feeling, great control
Viscaria= better for looping from far from the table since its a bit more flexible, softer feeling (for flicking with backhand) still not that far away from TBS, great control

They are very similar though, these diferences are noticeable but not greatly. I have played with both of them

I've played with all three blades. I love Viscaria the most, which is the one I'm using. If you are a two-winged looper, Viscaria is the best.

Timo Boll Spirit is good. Great blade with much speed and feeling.
