Great job updating on women's side. :) It is a good idea to put all results in one thread but may be it is better for me to do it at the very last round of 18. I am afraid it will end up with many super long threads updating every time with previous results till the last, if that is what you mean.

4) Zheng Peifeng 3:1 Zhu Linfeng (11:7, 9:11, 11:4, 11:9)

Tianjin 0:3 Bazhou
1) Liu Dingshuo 0:3 Fan Shengpeng (5:11, 6:11, 5:11)
2) Yu Xin Hang 2:3 Liang Jingkun (8:11, 11:8, 4:11, 11:3, 2:7)
3) Wei Shihao/Yu Xin Hang 0:2 Zhai Chao/Cheng Jingqi (7:11, 12:14)

Once again, Team Bayi and Shandong Weiqiao remain undefeated after 8 rounds and Fan Zhendong is still the player to beat. Don't miss Round 9 on the coming Saturday when the two giants crash!

muzi

also gave her a tough match and won, it was humiliating at some points but not so much of a beating like ZYL did . I never really liked DN playstyle, too much by the book and playing it safe. Her fighting spirit/patience though is probably the greatest among the womens' team. Its remarkable that simple things like these gave her 3 major titles against very difficult opponents (im not mentioning the world cups, i dont remember who she was up against :p)

I like her playing style a lot. Very well rounded and much more versatile than most of the women. Zhu Yuling is not that different either.

Actually I thought more in the line of you copying the women's round 1 results into your post with the men's round 1 results, round 2 into round 2, etc.

But I don't think it makes a big difference .

I will continue to post the women's results after each round - but most likely not as quickly after the end of the matches as you do :).

I'm also looking forward to see how some of the young CTTSL players will perform at the Austrian Open this week: Zhou Kai (Bayi, 20 years old), Wang Chuqin (Bazhou, 16), Fan Yinchi (Tianjin, 20), Zhao Zhaoyan (Bayi, 18) and Zhu Cheng (???, 19).

I wish that they (CNT) would do this more often: send their 2nd, 3rd or 4th tier players away on the World Tour tournaments. It's a shame that some REALLY great young players (like Liang Jingkun, Yu Ziyang and Lin Gaoyuan) hardly doesn't get to play internationally at all :(

FZD is unbeaten but n2 in rankings. Why ?
How are calculated the points ?

Thanks a lot !! :)

I have read the rules briefly but still not thoroughly understand how it is done :p. Basically the better player you beat, higher the points you get and vice versa. The rate of participation also counts with specific formula. They also mention points of the season, accumulation points and highest historical points. Not easy I would say.
