FZD wow!
Fan Zhendong against Ovtcharov final was just amazing, the reaction speed both close and mid-table from FZD (and Ovtcharov is very good too, especially in the backhand department) was amazing, I swear so many of his backhand-backhand rallies against world class backhand Ovtcharov was astounding. I think such impressive all around play would not easily be surpassed by even Ma Long and Zhang Jike. I think his main issue is the short game, here Samsonov in the semis showed he has some work to do there.
But...at the age of 16, simply put if he doesn't achieve the Grand Slam then I would be astounded. Of course he is so very young so there is a long way to go, but wow what a player! (I knew he was good but having seen the matches I think he is something very special)
