I am curious how much do you spend on your racket every year?

-This should include everything about racket: blades, rubbers, glues, boosters, cleaners, also pre -assembled rackets...

-This should not include clothing, shoes, tables...
-This should not include one off expanses (for example if you buy new blade every 5 years, please don't include it, if you buy a new blade approximately every year or every year and a half, please include)

I'm putting it in USD as forum members are all over the world..

:)

Used to EJ a lot. In the past year I only bought a H3N BS and a H3P.

Anyone with a authentic H3 would last for a long time so expenses on racket would be quite low

Passionate about TT

so it's around 100 for you :)
For me it seems that I'm slowly converting into EJ right now ..

I change rubbers on 2 - 4 months, 3 months average, and it makes some 280-300 $.
For blades - about 300 $ for the last 4 years.
Have in mind that here the prices of the brand I use are much lower than in the rest of Europe.
If I would go with Butterfly I should spend double of that, but just prefer to add some honey to my butter. :D

p.s. - what is EJ

Ooh, must be near $200; about four rubbers, a bit of glue and edge tape each year. If I'd ever change blade, that would add another $100 I suppose; but that expense should be stretched over multiple years. Not replacing it unless I somehow lose or break it, which doesn't happen. Knock on wood.

Reason I love the H3N - keeps the costs low. Can easily wreck people with it for half a year at like 18€ a sheet considering discounts. I got several FX-S for about 30€ also which I boost (lightly of course) after a couple of months to squeeze the last drop of value out of it. Then with glue, booster, protection sheet and the occasional new wood, I'm sitting between 100-200€ a year without discounts (which I always capitalize on). Very reasonable imo. The biggest amount of money goes into paying to enter the actual training hall which is owned by the city lol greedy sons of a gun

Last year i returned to sport after 3 years pause, after several session decided to play with Short Pips on BH. A journey to find blade and pips combination started:

Pips: DHS Sharpning x5 ,DHS Dragonow, Tsp Spectol Blue x2 , TSP Spectol, Xiom Vega SPO, Yinhe Uranus Poly, Nittaku Express, DHS 802-40,DHS 802 , Rainstorm, Mizuno Booster EV x2 , Mizuno Booster HP, Victas 101 ,Victas 102, Armstrong Attack 8 L 53 sponge, Der MaterialSpecialist Hellcat , waiting for Tibhar Speedy soft XD;some of them were second hand
Inverted :Xiom Omega 4 Pro x 2, Xiom Omega 5 Asia x 2, second hand to test Tibhar MX-S , Tenergy 05, Tenergy 64
Blades: Stiga Tube Off x2 , Avalox P700 x2 , Xiom Omega Pro, Xiom Stradivarious, Stiga Clipper CR

So probably ~1000 $

Well, i changed my setup like 5 times.. initially i was using nittaku's ma long 5 with Tenergies on both sides.. then i switched back to hurricane WL.. then i switched to Yinhe T-11+, then back to WL (the nittaku WL not the DHS WL).. then i switched to Timo Boll ALC, i also tried the butterfly korbel and now i have bough the butterfly viscaria.
In all i have used T05 (twice), T80, T64 (currently using also), T64-fx, yinhe moon speed, Yinhe venus-2, Yinhe Sun, Nittaku fastarc p1, Yasaka Rakza 7, Nittaku fastarc S1.
I usually try a new setup for at least 1 month.. then i either change it altogether or keep the rubbers and change the wood.

18-20 rubbers (mostly tenergy) a year and maybe 1-2 blades.
