if red is the path of the ball, it is traveling towards the playing surface right?
so orange is there and blocks the ball that is traveling towards the playing surface.
So if there is no dispute on the path of the ball, is this considered obstruction?

Yes. Orange is obstructing the ball. Stopping it from possible hitting the playing surface=obstruction. (The spooky thing is of course travelling towards, that is the angle of the red line vs. the table. Not always easy). Opposite solution if the ball was coming from the top of the drawing. Then orange transforms from a player to "a lamp", "a wall" or any other object - and the ball goes out of play without hitting the playing surface.

And: Of course if there is no obstruction - we will have to wait until the rally is over to decide the outcome. It might swing in again to the table. But that is a different story.

2 duplicate passports definitely isn't normal. But being in a different country competing every few weeks isn't normal either.

When I used to travel a lot for work and required visa's, which took time to process and required sending of passport, I had two passports.

Hirano took Batra totally apart here.

Hirano had to forfeit due to leg cramps in a later match against Pavade (see quote below).

Hirano actually remained unbeaten against non-CNT players and non-teammates longer than Hayata and Ito. Hirano started losing only in 2023 when she had to raise her world ranking while keeping up with the selection trials and T. League season, which proved very difficult and something Hayata experienced in the Tokyo 2020 cycle where she traveled all over the world to take part in Challenge Series to make up for poor seeding in World Tour.

I miss the old WTTTC format where all teams can play and have a bigger expectation (for the ones who don't know, old WTTTC was into divisions and if you win your division, you move up to a higher, and the bottom two degrades to lower division, so the divisional contest are way closer)

these "all into one" is really a waste of money for half the teams coming.
and also a waste of energy for strong team playing against weak opponents

I am from Uganada. This is East Africa. If you asked me, do I want my players to come to the World Championship[s], I will say it is 20% yes, and it is 80% no for now. Why? The 20% is because I want them to be exposed, maybe it is their dream to play in the World Table Tennis Championships, and that's just 20%, but like we have said, the most important thing for us is to be able to generate more revenue, and on that point, I don't want my players to come and play here, because they are not yet good enough, they are going to be beaten very badly, and then when I go and tell my government for more money to train my players, they are going to say no, you're not yet good enough, so that's a very big problem. If you cannot win down in your zones, in your continents, why do you want to go up? So there's a bit of an issue there that we have to look at. Secondly, like we said in Halmstad, we need to build from down, going upwards. If I want interest of my countrymen in Uganda to watch television my players of table tennis playing, it needs to start from down because I have chances of winning, therefore everybody would tune in. If I tell them to tune in now up at the World Championship[s], it may be a little bit difficult, because I didn't build their love for the television from down. So I think we need to appreciate that it has to be a down-to-up approach. Thank you.
