I would even go further and say socialism has taken a variety of forms. There is the form of Scandinavia, Denmark and things like that. There is democratic socialism à la Bernie Sanders, which is similar to that. Then there's the socialism of the Soviet Union. That's pretty different. Then there's the socialism of China, which is different again. And then there are other socialism beyond those that are becoming relatively more important.
