Why are J-pen rackets so expensive?

I never knew about how wonderful it is to play with a one-ply-hinoki blade until
I play again with my old five ply all wood blade. After the comparison I made up my mind; never shall I go back to multiple layer all-wood blade again.

It is the same with a seven ply all wood blade. It is stiff and does not have the catapult feel of a one-ply-hinoki.

I would guess that carbon jpen isn't big anymore because there aren't many super high Level jpen players anymore.

You can of course play a carbon jpen but most people who Still play jpen do it for enjoyment or because it is cool and different (I.e like the hipsters who ride fixed gear bikes). And if you do that you want the full original experience and then go for 1 ply.

But there are still cheap carbon jpen blades out there like this one
