so the world champion will not automatically go to the olympic but decided through trail matches for the 2 places?

My prediction... I am still waiting for ZJK win a close match in the clutch, then as a victory celebration, to do a power kick through an effigy of Adham exploding the thing to tiny pieces and the rest of the CNT standing by with brooms and pans to quickly sweep up the pieces and Adham himself on the sidelines clapping in tribute giving maximum points for wonderful and energetic presentation.

one of my guesses is correct, Ma Long won 4-0, and i am also about half way of my other guess of the title winners when Liu Shiwen qualified to the final to face Ding Ning, i hope LS will win but who knows.

Now we will see the other matches of QFs in Men singles.

Great posts guys, enjoying the read. Lets all have a guess whos going through. This is what i'm thinking:

My predictions for the quarter finals:

Ma Long-Tang Peng 4-0
Timo Boll Fan-Zhendong 4-2
Zhang Jike-Jun Mizutani 4-2
Patrick Franziska-Fang Bo 1-4

I think TImo Boll may take this one, could be wrong I cannot wait for these matches to unfold!

2 pairs right - good prediciton. Anyway let's hope someone abroad Can beat one of chinese stars. I think Mizutani has better chance then Boll.

Boll should be already 2:0 for Him, but in the end both sets FZD had better idea what to do. Boll has problem with his service, all of them fan easily flicks and then comes the power.

The streamquality is a joke. every 4 seconds it is stuttering and hanging for 10 second. they should stream via twitch if they have to idea how to get a stable stream

Streaming quality is really awful. It is plain pain to watch online-stream.

Streaming for most games freezing for 10 seconds every 5 seconds. Audio is disappearing even more frequently than video.
And it's not only for QF, that happened for most table 1 games!
I believe that it is not ITTF fault but laola1.tv's, which provides internet streaming. But still, ITTF should look into this issue and either make laola fix things, or switch streaming provider.

Also, there were problems with camera for table 4 and some other table was constantly shaking.

And worse, videos going to youtube channel have all this "features" and have even worse quality than streaming.

It would be nice for someone at ITTF to address these issues.
