Wow! What a year 2012 has been with recent World Tours being successful as ever! The World Tours have had a huge impact on table tennis this year with the Hungarian Open World Tour 4 weeks ago and the Slovenian Open World Tour 2 weeks ago. Followed by the Slovenian Open was the Qatar Open which was won today by Xu Xin of China! Xu Xin trailed by 3 sets to 1 against compatriot Wang Hao in the Men's Singles final. However the 22 year old made a heroic comeback to win the seventh set 12-10!

Joo Se Hyuk the World no.6 enters the Kuwait Open World Tour as the number 1 seed!

no chinese this time? why they dont send younger player like yan an, lin gaoyan etc.? and woman chen meng. :D

I had wondered this to... however, maybe its because the top players like Ma Long and Zhang Jike are preparing for the World Team Championships they don't want to send any 'other' Chinese players (Yan An, ect...) so the rest of the World players don't get use to the Chinese style, or the specific match practice.. Possibility?

Or its because the coaches are focusing in the training hall and taking a break from the World Tour events for a while

Joo got this in the bag, no chinese so he should use his Hungarian Open setup ;) easy money

Negative. Joo will not take this title.
The 2012 Kuwait Open will be Kim Min Seok's debut, and he's going to do it in style.
Of course I'm secretly (not so secretly) hoping Kenta will stand on the top of the podium.

haha lower than my post tally, nice comparison. Nah Kim Min Seok won't win I guarantee it :p

Oh you guarantee it!? Well perhaps we should make a wager...
$10 says Kim Min Seok wins the Men's Singles, and the same for you with Joo Se Hyuk.
You'd better hope Joo doesn't meet Lee Jung Woo.

What say you, Duckfella?

Agree 100%
but will it mean that the Chinese team could learn a bit about his ultimate setup by watching his vids in this tour.
I think Joo could actually won with his usual setup..
