For years my strokes have been rigid, stiff and showed a vid of it here.
And this is the result after just 3 days of @Stella advice for me to copy the forehand of a player I like, do it slowly, without paddle, 500 times a day.
This forced me to relax my grip during swings as that was the cause as to why my strokes were rigid.
On 4th day I finally had coaching and was able to apply what I learned from this.
He had me do volleys with another player cos he wanted to see how I play.
The thing where you do 3 close table volleys, then on 4th you back up then do loops and other blocks.
Finally swinging with relaxed grip.
Coach told me to accelerate closing of elbow to forearm to impart more spin.
And there it is, the thing I long envied seeing from experienced players, like scooping up the ball below table level to go upwards cross the net, then immediately go down
cos of the immense top spin. There I was finally able to do it myself.

So again, thank you Stella.
I'm showing this here as I'm asking advice from fellow tt players here on how to further improve the stroke.

In fact, we notice in your video that your approach shot is somewhat "programmed" because the ball is so fixed in point and rhythm that you can even do it with your eyes closed. Instead of using a driver at this stage, it is recommended that you use your left hand to throw the ball onto the table and complete the stroke. This can partially improve the problem. Of course, the best thing to do is to find someone to train with you, it's more efficient that way.

Here are other things that other tt players on net pointed out.
These two pics is warm-up volley against friend
About to hit the ball, Left foot is too forward - https://imgflip.com/i/8b2ncr
The same Point of impact against robot or friend, too late for comfort, a few seconds more and ball will be behind my body - https://imgflip.com/i/8b2ngc

I am subconsciously compensating for the late impact by bending racket during the start of forward swing, which I never noticed during swings - https://imgflip.com/i/8b2orf

Don't sweat about it, it's just a bit mechanical because of the robot. Play with people and try to take the ball a bit earlier, ar the top of the bounce.
thanks.
never expected a reply anymore.

okay so this is about a week or so after Stella's advices
TT5 vid is with me still having tennis fh stroke muscle memory, knee straighten after follow through.
TT6 vis is with me keeping knees bent even after follow through as per other forum players' advices.
I do feel the shots on tt6 vid feel better and gave better results.

I think you need a coach, join a club. These little things can only be corrected if you have feedback from a professional. If you can't then record yourself and do self correction in front of a mirror. Stiffness and whatnot is up to you, relax you wrist, give more acceleration on contact, etc. These things are easy for a coach to see, harder to understand from video.

1) Left foot positioning is fine.

2) Point of impact is fine, it should be to your side. You can take the ball a bit earlier, but that's not a major issue.

3) That's not from the late impact, that's from tennis. Every single tennis player I've seen swing the bat that way. They all go from a closed bat angle to open like you do. In TT it generally goes from open to closed. To fix it, try relaxing your wrist until right before impact. A limp wrist will naturally droop down.

Get a coach is always no1.
on the robot, if possible, set it to 2 point FH and learn movement, body weight, then your shot, recovery and movement.

Like here
Obviously, with a much slowly feed.

yes, will be using robot's oscillate more often now.
150 balls or so on my robot.
ohh, 1st one's like HIIT. setting 6 or 7 on robot's interval, ends faster but is tiring.
2nd one looks easy and is easy when I was doing it, but daym the 4 interval makes it very tiring as it lasts longer and you're bending your knees longer too.
