Nailbiting match, but have to admit, Zhu was simply better..
Seems that not attacking, but only putting the ball back on the table is the best thing to do in womens table tennis.
Because mostly Zhu Yuling has done just that.
Liu Shiwen was attacking hard all over the table, Zhu just bringing the ball back, looking for the opening to send Liu..
Just like Ding Ning..
ABSOLUTELY NOT HAPPY, because I really hate this style of play..

Indeed that's why I liked hirano and LXX in the past so much, they have offered something we have never seen before, if she improves her consistency the chinese will be forced to play the same game. It will be extremely hard to do so at such a level though, today whenever she secured the opening shots then she was dominating, losing 4-1 with countless unforced errors it must have felt like she was losing on her own

Ha ha ha in today's 2nd semifinals, ZHU Yuling indeed just returned the favor to LIU Shiwen after being crushed by Liu two years ago in the quarterfinals of the 2015 WTTC in Suzhou.

What a historic encounter! It takes two years to pay back in the same tournament...
