DING Ning beat Miu HIRANO 4-1 (11-4, 11-8, 11-5, 5-11, 11-5).


It's very obvious that she's deadly determined to pay back her defeat in the last encounter in the Asia Championships.


I can only guess that Ding Ning and her team worked very hard and learned quite seriously to solve this Miu Hirano's issues in convincing ways. No such Hirano's trauma or Hirano's jinx!


Ding just suppressed Hirano's games today and gave no much chance for her to play her own games.

Yes, but not right before serving. Players usually get into serving position and then there is a little time when they are just thinking about the serve and tactics. Harimoto shouts while the opponent is still thinking and not in a moment he can distract the serving process. Obviously he wants to distract the opponent thinking process to be less focused. It's more like a dirty trap. The opponent should wait a few more second to concentrate again and serve then.
I wouldn't do something like that, but Pistoj's reaction was just ugly.

I second to you. Even though Ding Ning already secured the final, I still wish Liu to win this SF match and stage the Clash of Titans. Since Ding already got the Olympic gold, now is Liu's turn to get the gold here. JiaYou!!
