The last ITTF World Tour event before the London Olympics will be held in Brazil. Despite the long distance and the short break since the last World Tour event (the Japan Open 2012), several top players are heading towards Santos to ensure they'll be match-fit.

Even though there are only a couple World Top 100 players competing, it should still be interesting to see how the top seeds perform just before the Olympics. Will Joo Se Hyuk get back to his old form after getting knocked out early last week? Could Oh Sang Eun reach and perhaps even win the final this time now that Jun Mizutani isn't around? Or is the European army led by Saive and Freitas going to cause them some trouble?
