Agree re Walker but feel he has lifted his game recently and has the talent to do better given the right support and belief.

What did you think of the result vs Hungary? Did it change your mind about anything?

Interesting moment in Sweden vs Austria teams match at ETTU. Levenko is hiding the ball with his arm and the ref was brave enough to call him out on it. Two points faulted in the span of 3 of his serves.

We need more refs like this.

IMHO, it is as much about Truls as it is about the ref. Truls serves so cleanly that the umpire feels the need to level the playing field. Not that Truls needed the help, he sees the ball well.

Disappointed as you might imagine! Credit where it’s due to Hungary who were outstanding. Pitch played well today - as I’d expect a player of his ranking and experience to do. Drinkhall played poorly in both his legs and so did Jarvis. Doesn’t change my view really though.

Morgard: I think it is just me but he looks like a girl to me, not sure why. Could be those lovely blonde hair, perhaps.

I need to familiarize myself more with them Euro players, too Asian Centric I am.

Beginning to love the taste of the Euro side of things; slower and more elegance TT. Asian are too brutal and thuggish / too much power-play.

Watching these guys for real I don't see any lack of power from the euro side. Kristian Karlsson, for example, has insane power.

Lin Yun-ju looks pretty elegant to me when he plays. And so does Ma Long, he looks more fluid to me than playing with as much power as Kristian.

I love this guys ... Loks kinda weird when i sow playing them against Adam B. But in this matches they played realy great and powerful with litle to nothing of respect for opponents.

Beautiful court design of blue,, it is some heaven place, a sweet nice view—sweet to human eye, some azure paradise as against the black crematorium imposed to us by WTT staff suffering with perversion of vision.

Team Sweden eeks out a win against the Hungarians. Karlsson had to save 3 match points there in the 5th set in the decider to do it.

Good to see an exciting matchup like that on Swedish soil with a big crowd on the edge of their seat. Really puts recent WTT international events to shame on that front. But that doesn't seem to be hard to do tbh.

Such an epic battle. Watching it live I was pacing around haha. Too intense. Really wanted to see the Truls vs Lebruns matchup so happy with the result but Hungary fought so hard in the close moments. Truly impressive and exciting table tennis.

What a huge mistake by Lind after his match vs. Freitas too.

I saw the Poland sorry I meant Denmark vs Portugal results and it didn't make sense to me. Then I read the news story and it made perfect sense. Unfortunate that Anders Lind despite his obvious talent still behaves like a petulant child at the worst time, hopefully the fact that it cost his team a winnable match will make him reflect on whether it is worth it to behave so stupidly at critical moments.
