Apparently, excessive World Cup victory celebration is the cause of Ma Long's neck injury:

"I talked with Chinese players and interestingly, it turns out that Ma Long suffered the injury ... celebrating the victory in Sweden. He lay down with joy on the floor and violently twisted his neck" - said Wang Zeng Yi from China, who is a long time member of the Polish squad."

That's a good win for Fegerl. He's been good since the Euros.

Another good win for Mattias Karlsson as well. Surprisingly he beat Steffen Mengel 4-1 quite comfortably and will play Jakub Dyjas (who benefited from Ma Long's withdrawal) tomorrow.

During the preliims, I found Karlsson's margin of victory in his matches against good opposition very impressive but the Yan An match confirmed it.
