He's talked about the weight he prefers and it's surprisingly not all that heavy. Not sure if that's what he truly uses though.

This is an interesting syllogism

Observation Nr 1: World Nr 1 gets more power than I do.
Observation Nr 2: It seems like his stroke is about the same as mine.

Conclusion: It must be something to do with the weight of his paddle. :p

Yeah, why would anyone consider: "maybe his mechanics are better than mine." :)

When I play against the players 300-400 TTR above me, I feel the spin quality difference. I am amazed at how much whipping skill and feeling they have.

As OP thinks, I also sometimes think that their equipment must be fully boosted in order to generate that much power and spin with short strokes. Then I think rationally ;

My topspin = 1
A better player's topspin = 1+1
...
PRO topspin = 1 + (n-1)
Best player in the world = 1+n

With the recent rules. No switch sides, no audience, no chos, no shakehand. Any vid of harimoto on that rules? I'm dying to see him play without his chos.

Thanks

That is mean. :) Harimoto without his choing would be like a shell of his former self. :)

No way! No chos??? Definitely not a Harimoto kind of demeanor if that has been eliminated. I don't cho anymore but it's crucial for me sometimes when the game is intense. I wouldn't want it banned.

Me: USATT 2139 traditional attacker.

Blade: jun mizutani super zlc FL 93.4g
FH: t05
BH: D05

tl;dr It's very fast and powerful, i feel like this racket is for girls.

Long version:

Most jm szlc i read online is 90g + so i guess 93.4g is not consider on the heavy side for this particular blade. That said this blade is consider heavy, not only it's heavy it's super fast. The zlc activates too effortlessly, i found my shots shoot off the table very often. This blade benefit small and precise strokes aka for classically train girls. When ever i try to swing anything over 70% the ball will become uncontrollable. The throw angle is also consider high unlike zjk szlc. I wouldn't recommend this blade for any men.

This blade is best for players like Jia yang yang. Classically trained but lack power so the blade can come in and compensate for it.

I tried that too. My shots started to hit the end of table. It became very lively. Unboosted T05 is a dead rubber comparing to boosted T05H. Feeling was nowhere near same. You feel that T05H is heavier and denser than T05 even if T05H is boosted 3 layers.

Additionaly, T05H is durable against boosting. It is not doming quickly.
