Guys this scrubjesus dude is right. Gonna copy paste parts of my review from the other thread.
Alright guys I decided to suck it up and go play on 3 hrs of sleep. Woke up early and put D09c 2.1mm on both sides. Played for 3-4 hours and my conclusion is that that scrubjesus guy from the golden viscaria thread being p2w is correct. Table tennis is indeed a pay2win sport now. This thing is amazing and felt like there was Neuralink (or whatever Elon is developing) between the blade and my mind. All my shots were landing and I was just so surprised when normally these shots wouldn’t have gone in. Keep in mind, this was on 3 hours of sleep after working a night shift. Here’s the difference between this and regular viscaria. Regular viscaria will have like 20 gears from 20-80, whereas golden viscaria has like 50 gears from 5-95. The floor is much lower, meaning touch game is incredible, while the ceiling is also much higher, meaning mid-long distance is also amazing. At low power shots, it felt like a wood blade and i won so many points in the touch game. The carbon activates earlier in regular viscaria and that blade feels harder. Keep in mind tho, you have to have a solid foundation and be able to supply your own power for rallies. If you’re a shitty player, most of the shots you play will go into net because you can’t supply your own power. I would say you should at least be USATT 1800 or above. This blade gives like +200 to rating. I was beating people 200 higher that I rarely beat before.
Comparing W968 to golden viscaria, I would say they’re both trying to accomplish the same goals. More gears and work to address the deficiencies of the regular versions. This means harder HL5 and softer viscaria. They’re moving towards the same kind of blade. I would still say golden viscaria is harder than W968 and BH is better on it, but FH is worse. Choose your poison. I switch flawlessly between the two tho and will just choose how I’m feeling that day.
